CGA Group focuses on investing in sectors such as cleantech, commercial real estate, pharm & medical devices and distressed assets.

Real Estate
We have professionals with tens of years of hands-on investing and advisory experience in local real estate markets in US or China. All our team members used to work for well-known real estate private equity investing funds, top-notch local developers and third-party service providers in US or China. We are now managing a real estate private equity investing fund with an initial committed capital of $300 million from our investors in China, most of whom are among the biggest developers in China. The fund will focus on investing in residential real estate projects in key metropolitan areas in US.

We are keen to invest in the mass commercialization of tomorrow’s most promising technologies in cleantech sectors through two venture capital funds under management both in US and China and providing unbiased advice, prudent strategies and thoughtful action plan for strategy, financing, investing and performance for our portfolio companies as well as clients worldwide.

Created to support the development of new technologies and projects and generate positive returns for our investors, both funds follow an active management investment strategy and seek to realize strong risk-adjusted returns. Through these funds, CGA Group promotes and commercializes renewable technologies in US as well as in China, and identifies synergies between its investments and other CGA Group's activities, in line with the CGA Group's long-term vision on promoting better human life on Earth.

CGA Group has been an active investor in the cleantech marketplace since 2008 and will continue to raise new funds to take advantage of profitable sectors whilst growing its assets under management. We are in the process of setting up a new cleantech fund sponsored together with the China Central Government with an initial capital of RMB10 billion (about $1.7bn). The new fund will target to invest in technology companies and infrastructure facilities helpful to clean up the smog in China.
